These terms are the agreement between you and Robosol India, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, which operates Mera Adda. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. You must give a real date of birth. Accounts that misstate age are removed without notice.

You must not use Mera Adda if a previous account of yours was banned.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your email address current - it is the only way to recover access to your account.
• Your password is yours to protect. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Do not sell, rent or transfer it.
• Do not impersonate anyone, or imply an association with a person, college or organisation that does not exist.

3. Your content

You own what you post. We claim no ownership of your photos, videos, or writing.

To operate the service we need a limited licence: by posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, resize and display your content for the purpose of running Mera Adda. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already sent to other users and routine backups.

We will not sell your content, license it to advertisers, or use it in marketing without asking you first.

4. What you may not do

Do not post, send or share:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexual content presented as involving minors. We report this to the authorities.
• Nudity or sexually explicit material.
• Threats, harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse.
• Hate speech directed at religion, caste, gender, sexuality, disability, region or ethnicity.
• Content that promotes self-harm or suicide.
• Someone else's private information - phone number, address, ID documents - without their consent.
• Intimate images of anyone shared without their consent.
• Copyrighted work that is not yours to share.
• Scams, phishing, pyramid schemes or fraudulent selling.
• Malware, or links intended to compromise devices.

Do not:

• Automate access, scrape the service, or run bots against it.
• Attempt to bypass message limits, blocks, or any other restriction.
• Probe, scan or test the security of our systems without written permission.
• Create accounts in bulk.

5. Messaging limits

To keep unsolicited contact manageable, messaging is tiered. These limits are enforced by the service and are not negotiable:

6. Secret Crush

Marking someone as a Crush is private. They are not notified and see no change of any kind. A match happens only when two people have independently chosen each other, and both are told at that moment.

Mera Adda is a social network, not a dating or matchmaking service. We do not promise that anyone will match with you.

7. Blocking and reporting

Blocking removes the relationship in both directions: follows, Crushes and any match are cleared, and neither of you can contact the other. Reports are reviewed by a person. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete an account.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

9. Service availability

Mera Adda is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be withdrawn. We are not liable for content posted by other users.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Mera Adda is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim - which, for a free service, is nil. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Mera Adda after a change means you accept it.
